Today is April 6. Below are some of the stories grabbing headlines this morning. I hope you share this briefing as doing so will make you the smartest person in the room.

1. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to Challenge Joe Biden in 2024
BreitbartDemocrat Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has pledged to challenge President Joe Biden in his 2024 reelection bid, joining Marianne Williamson as one of the few Democrats to do so.

The nephew of former President John F. Kennedy and son of his equally iconic brother, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., filed a statement of candidacy Wednesday with the Federal Election Commission, according to the Associated Press.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has made no formal statement on the matter, but he has been vehemently critical of the Biden administration, especially in its push for the coronavirus vaccine mandate. He also spoke about a presidential run in early March of this year.

Ryan Lynch: Robert F. Kennedy and Marianne Williamson decisions to challenge Biden just comes to show how weak of a leader Joe Biden is.

2. Swiss billionaire-backed environmental groups spent big targeting millions of Biden voters
FoxNewsEnvironmental groups heavily financed by a Swiss foreign national spent big on data mining operations targeting millions of President Biden’s voters, efforts that could be replicated ahead of the 2024 presidential elections.

The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Victory Fund, LCV’s independent political action committee, and Climate Power shelled out $15 million last year for a “sophisticated targeting project unlike anything they’d ever undertaken before” to propel Democrats, Politico reported earlier this month. The LCV and Climate Power are two prominent far-left environmental groups that push aggressive green transition policies and have received large funding from Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss’ nonprofits.

As part of the operation, LCV Victory Fund and Climate Power hired BlueLabs Analytics, a Washington, D.C.-based data science organization, to mine data of more than two million Biden voters in crucial swing states with advertisements and mailers ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

Ryan Lynch: Sounds like election interference to me, no foreign power or individual should be legally allowed to be involved in any U.S. election. Climate change is heavily debated and split between the political aisle.

3. Macron calls on Xi to reason with Russia for Ukraine peace
ReutersBEIJING, April 6 (Reuters) – French President Emmanuel Macron urged China’s Xi Jinping on Thursday to reason with close ally Russia and help end the Ukraine war, while Xi responded by saying he hoped the two sides could hold peace negotiations as soon as possible.

In closely-watched talks in Beijing, which also involve EU chief Ursula von der Leyen, Macron said the West must engage Beijing to help end the crisis and prevent ‘spiralling’ tensions that could split global powers into warring blocs.

“The Russian aggression in Ukraine has dealt a blow to (international) stability,” Macron told Xi, standing alongside the Chinese president outside the Great Hall of the People at the start of their meeting.

Ryan Lynch:
Our allies are running to China and asking them to do what we should have done a year ago. This is scary stuff, the world power dynamic is shifting and it keeps getting worst. The world sees the United States as unreliable and incompetent. BRICS is a greater threat than our country wants to admit.

4. ‘I’m done with this sh**!’ Distressing moment Ohio school bus driver resigns ‘after being tormented by bully students who triggered her asthma by spraying perfume’ – as her rant inspires T-SHIRTS
DailyMailAn Ohio school bus driver resigned in despair after screaming at students who sprayed perfume on her bus in the hopes of making her have an asthma attack.

Jackie Miller was filmed telling the alleged teenage bullies to ‘shut your mouth’ in the town of Amherst where she’d worked for the past two years, before finally declaring ‘I’m done with this s**t!’

The driver of 15 years quit after last week’s incident, throwing up her hands on what she told local outlets was incessantly bad behavior from a specific group of students on her line, who she claims bullied her out of a job.

5. Chicago paper is stunned new mayor honored God but not Obama
FoxNewsThe Chicago Tribune congratulated Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson Wednesday, but balked at his lack of praise for former President Barack Obama, whose political rise began in their city, despite acknowledging God.

The Tribune editorial board hailed “Cook County Commissioner Brandon Johnson” as the incoming 57th mayor of Chicago, noting he is an “inspiring orator” and claiming, “This will be a City Hall first for most Chicagoans.” The paper praised his charisma on stage as a “quality that many of Johnson’s predecessors in the office have lacked,” but said one aspect of his acceptance speech was noticeably missing.

“He found a place for God, but not, strikingly, for Barack Obama, inarguably the most important leader this city ever has produced,” the editorial board wrote. “The omission was telling, a reminder that the progressive movement of which Johnson now is a Midwest standard-bearer, feels ambivalent about the former Chicago community organizer and his more pragmatic legacy.”

Ryan Lynch: The left thinks Obama walks on water.
