1. Trump Sounds Off After Durham Report Reveals FBI Malfeasance

Breitbart – Former President Donald Trump sounded off on Monday in response to the long-awaited report from Special Counsel John Durham showing that the FBI should have never launched its investigation into the 2016 Trump presidential campaign.

In a series of posts on the former president’s Truth Social account Monday, Trump called the actions of certain FBI agents as being tantamount to “treason” and how a “great fraud” had been pushed on the American people.

“The Durham Report spells out in great detail the Democrat Hoax that was perpetrated upon me and the American people. This is 2020 Presidential Election Fraud, just like ‘stuffing’ the ballot boxes, only more so. This totally illegal act had a huge impact on the Election. With an honest Media, we are looking at the Crime of the Century!” he later added.

2. News Anchor ‘Immediately’ Fired Over ‘Off-Color’ Remark:

Yahoo – Ken Rosato, a longtime co-anchor on New York’s WABC 7, has reportedly been terminated.

According to sources close to the matter, the Eyewitness News This Morning reporter was fired after he made an “off-color remark” while wearing a mic, Page Six exclusively learned over the weekend.

Sources told the outlet that Rosato uttered an inappropriate phrase while “on an open mic” and that it was picked up. Following the incident, insiders told Page Six that the 56-year-old journalist was “immediately let go.”

The outlet later clarified that Rosato allegedly called his co-anchor Shirleen Allicot”a c–t,” which ultimately led him to be dismissed from his post, with the source confirming he was “fired for cause immediately.”

Rosato joined WABC’s Eyewitness News New York division in 2003 as a freelance reporter. A few years into his decades-long tenure, in 2007, Rosato was promoted to morning and noon anchor.

While the network opted to tell the outlet that it has “no comment,” Rosato’s bio has since been removed from its website and his official Twitter account associated with ABC 7 has also been deactivated.

3. Top Taiwanese Official Responds To Biden’s Remarks About US Troops In Taiwan:

A top Taiwanese official responded Monday to the Biden administration repeatedly clarifying President Joe Biden’s remarks about Taiwan, saying the U.S. can have “different interpretations” about the “One China” policy, but that there is also “One Taiwan.”

Biden has vowed to send U.S. troops in the event of a Chinese attack on Taiwan, seemingly departing from a decades-long practice of U.S. non-commitment to military action. In response, the Biden administration scrambled to maintain that the U.S. stands by its “One China” policy and does not encourage Taiwanese independence.

“I think we have different interpretations for the so-called ‘One China’ policy. I also agree with [the] ‘One China’ policy, but I would add ‘One Taiwan’ as well,” You Si-kun, the president of the Taiwanese Legislative Yuan, told the Daily Caller.

Under the “One China” policy, the U.S. recognizes that the Chinese government is the only government but merely acknowledges the Chinese position that Taiwan is a part of China. Officially, the policy of “strategic ambiguity” means that the U.S. has an unofficial relationship with the island.

China maintains the “One China” principle, which argues that Taiwan is a part of China and denies that there are two different countries.

Denny’s Insight: Militarily, I don’t think we could handle two oversea wars. The Ukraine conflict is running us dry in funds and weapons, and to defend Taiwan means combatting a bigger enemy. Still, it would not shock me if Biden gets us ensnared in a second war, it’s become his fundamental duty to screw things up.

4. IRS Axes ‘Entire Investigative Team’ Probing Hunter Biden Taxes:

Townhall – As the U.S. Department of Justice and FBI were left reeling in the wake of John Durham’s report on the “sobering” finding that there was no basis for the investigation into Trump’s “Russian collusion,” the DOJ reportedly wasted no time apparently trying to use the fury of media scrutiny to make another confounding decision.

According to an exclusive report late Monday night from The New York Post, the IRS “removed the ‘entire investigative team’ from its long-running tax fraud probe of first son Hunter Biden in alleged retaliation against the whistleblower who alleged a coverup.”

In April, an anonymous IRS employee retained counsel after making protected disclosures at the federal agency and made contact with Republican House committee chairmen seeking to make additional protected disclosures to lawmakers about what the whistleblower called “preferential treatment” for Hunter Biden and knowledge of details that “contradict sworn testimony to Congress by a senior political appointee.” 

The latest development regarding the IRS’ probe of Hunter Biden came from a letter from the whistleblower’s lawyers informing members of Congress of the allegedly DOJ-ordered removal of the team investigating Hunter Biden’s taxes:

Today the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Supervisory Special Agent we represent was informed that he and his entire investigative team are being removed from the ongoing and sensitive investigation of the high-profile, controversial subject about which our client sought to make whistleblower disclosures to Congress. He was informed the change was at the request of the Department of Justice.

Denny’s Insight: The Department of Just-When-We-Feel-Like-It strikes again. Investigations and inquiries into Hunter Biden are like scaling a mountain that’s ascending simultaneously. We know how much the Biden family has been criminally scheming with the growing amount of evidence towards their crimes, and yet we still haven’t reached the peak. There’s no such value as accountability in the Biden administration, and clearly not in their family either.

5. Best US cities to live – Midwestern city dominates ranking of best places to live:

Fox Business – A city in the Midwest has beat out 149 of the U.S.’s other most populous places to grab the title of the best locale to reside, a report released Tuesday found.

U.S. News & World Report bestowed upon Green Bay, Wisconsin, the overall highest spot on its 2023-2024 Best Places to Live” report. The outlet publishes the list on a yearly basis.

Green Bay saw itself boosted into first place thanks to how it scored in terms of value and quality of life, U.S. News & World Report said. Its rise on this year’s list marked a two-spot climb from the prior year, when it moved up 18 places to reach third-place. U.S. News considered data about the quality of life, value, desirability and job market in the 150 largest U.S. metropolitan areas to create its list.

In second place after Green Bay was Huntsville, the Alabama city that held the top spot in last year’s list, according to the report. Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina rose three spots to rank No. 3.

The report identified the other two cities that made the top five as being:

• Boulder, Colorado
• Sarasota, Florida
