Today is April 25. Below are some of the stories grabbing headlines this morning. I hope you share this briefing as doing so will make you the smartest person in the room.

1.Biden, Harris officially announce their 2024 re-election campaign
FoxNewsPresident Biden announced that he and Vice President Harris will seek re-election in a video released early Tuesday morning.

In the video titled “Freedom,” President Biden echoed his 2020 campaign message of battling for the “soul of our nation,” uniting the country, and supporting the middle class, his campaign said. The video opens with footage of the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol protest.

“Freedom. Personal freedom is fundamental to who we are as Americans. There’s nothing more important. Nothing more sacred,” Biden, 80, said in the video. “That’s been the work of my first term: To fight for our Democracy. This shouldn’t be a red or blue issue.”

Ryan Lynch: Who’s telling Biden it’s a good idea to run? I just can’t see where he can win unless the election is meddled with. We can’t let him win.

2. Bud Light Boycott Slashes Sales by ‘Staggering’ 17%
BreitbartAccording to market reports, sales of Bud Light beer have dropped 17 percent since it tried to raise sales by advertising with Dylan Mulvaney, a man who claims to be a woman.

The sales drop means that Anheuser-Busch, the Belgium-based brewer, is selling five bottles of beer for every six bottles it sold before it advertised with the self-proclaimed “transgender” man who displays himself as a giddy young girl.

“The latest sales data from NielsenIQ and Bump Williams Consulting shows that Bud Light sales fell 17% in dollars, while volume dropped a whopping 21% in the week ended April 15,” the New York Post reported on April 24, adding:

Ryan Lynch: Everyone needs to keep the boycott; 17 percent isn’t good enough.

3. SpaceX wins approval to add fifth U.S. rocket launch site
ReutersWASHINGTON, April 24 (Reuters) – The U.S. Space Force said on Monday that Elon Musk’s SpaceX was granted approval to lease a second rocket launch complex at a military base in California, setting the space company up for its fifth launch site in the United States.

Under the lease, SpaceX will launch its workhorse Falcon rockets from Space Launch Complex-6 at Vandenberg Space Force Base, a military launch site north of Los Angeles where the space company operates another launchpad. It has two others in Florida and its private Starbase site in south Texas.

A Monday night Space Force statement said a letter of support for the decision was signed on Friday by Space Launch Delta 30 commander Col. Rob Long. The statement did not mention a duration of SpaceX’s lease.

Ryan Lynch: We shouldn’t hold back on space and space exploration.

4. Job Creators Network Times Square Billboard Highlights Biden Economic Failures amid Reelection Announcement
BreitbartThe Job Creators Network (JCN) has placed its latest massive billboard in Times Square, this time blasting President Joe Biden over what economist, lawmakers, and a majority of Americans describe as a poor economic performance. The JCN billboard lands in Times Square just as Biden is expected to announce his reelection bid.

“Persistently high inflation continues to more than erase wage gains. In fact, the most recent Consumer Price Index report marks the 24th consecutive month that the rate of price increases has surpassed average earnings gains,” a JCN press release said. “Translation: Americans have gotten a pay cut.”

“Hey Joe, If Only There Were a Little Blue Pill For Your Performance Issues,” The billboard reads. “America can’t afford four more years.”

The billboard displays how real wages have tanked since President Biden took office.

Ryan Lynch: I applaud the people who are actually behind this billboard. Putting it in the heart of Time Square makes it even better.

5. Russia deploys new tank in Ukraine that UK says commanders are ‘unlikely to trust’ in battle
FoxNewsRussia reportedly has deployed a new battle tank in Ukraine that the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense suggests commanders will be “unlikely to trust” in combat.

The T-14 Armata, which has an unmanned turret and is operated by a crew remotely controlling its armaments from “an isolated armored capsule located in the front of the hull,” has started firing at Ukrainian positions, Reuters reported, citing the Russian state-run RIA Novosti news agency.

State media said the new tanks have “not yet participated in direct assault operations,” but have undergone “combat coordination” at training grounds within Ukraine and are being defended with extra protection on their flanks, Reuters added.

Ryan Lynch: Russia is desperate.
