DML Morning Briefing: Wed. Oct 28
By Team DML
Today is October 28 and I am Dennis Michael Lynch
1 – Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, tells America everything he knows about the Biden family
Bobulinski, in an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tuesday, said he raised concerns in 2017 to the former vice president’s brother Jim Biden, about Joe Biden’s alleged ties to a possible joint venture with a Chinese energy firm.
Bobulinski, a retired lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, was the former CEO of SinoHawk Holdings, which he said was the partnership between a Chinese based company, CEFC, and the two Biden family members.
“I remember saying, ‘How are you guys getting away with this?’ ‘Aren’t you concerned?’” he told Carlson. “‘Plausible Deniability,’ he said it directly to me in a cabana at the Peninsula Hotel,” Bobulinski said Jim Biden told him.
Bobulinki told viewers to search the meaning of “plausible deniability.” Here is what Wikepedia offers: ”
Plausible deniability is the ability of people, typically senior officials in a formal or informal chain of command, to deny knowledge of or responsibility for any damnable actions committed by others in an organizational hierarchy because of a lack or absence of evidence that can confirm their participation, even if they were personally involved in or at least willfully ignorant of the actions. If illegal or otherwise-disreputable and unpopular activities become public, high-ranking officials may deny any awareness of such acts to insulate themselves and shift the blame onto the agents who carried out the acts, as they are confident that their doubters will be unable to prove otherwise. The lack of evidence to the contrary ostensibly makes the denial plausible (credible), but sometimes, it makes the denial only unactionable. The term typically implies forethought, such as intentionally setting up the conditions for the plausible avoidance of responsibility for one’s future actions or knowledge. In some organizations, legal doctrines such as command responsibility exist to hold major parties responsible for the actions of subordinates who are involved in heinous acts and nullify any legal protection that their denial of involvement would carry.
In politics and espionage, deniability refers to the ability of a powerful player or intelligence agency to pass the buck and to avoid blowback by secretly arranging for an action to be taken on its behalf by a third party that is ostensibly unconnected with the major player. In political campaigns, plausible deniability enables candidates to stay clean and denounce third-party advertisements that use unethical approaches or potentially-libelous innuendo.
Although plausible deniability has existed throughout history, the term was coined by the CIA in the early 1960s to describe the withholding of information from senior officials to protect them from repercussions if illegal or unpopular activities became public knowledge.”
In the interview, Bubolinki outlines how an alleged meeting with Joe Biden took place on May 2, 2017. Fox News first reported text messages that indicated such a meeting. Bobulinski said that it was the Bidens, not him, who had pushed the meeting.
2 – South Carolina Federal Judge, Obama Appointee, Rules Signatures Don’t Have to Match Absentee Ballots
Breitbart reports: A federal judge in South Carolina ruled Tuesday that local election authorities cannot discard absentee ballots whose signatures do not match those on file.
U.S. District Judge Richard Mark Gergel, an appointee of President Barack Obama, said that the signature authorization procedures being used by local authorities were “subjective.”
The State, a Columbia, South Carolina-based newspaper, reported:
The ruling applies only to voter signature mismatches — when election officials determine a voter’s signature on an absentee ballot does not resemble the signature on file. Voters who return absentee ballots without their own signature or without a witness signature (unless they were received by Oct. 7) will still, as of this moment, have their votes discounted and not be afforded an opportunity to correct the deficiency.
While South Carolina law directs poll managers to compare voters’ signatures on the poll list — where they sign their name before voting — with their signature on their identification card, nothing in the state code expressly allows county boards of voter registration and elections to employ any type of signature matching procedure upon receipt of an absentee ballot …
DML: Believe it or not, I have SC on my states going to Biden. Many people could not understand why I turned that state blue when I posted my map last week. Now you understand why. Corruption.
3 – NBC moves Texas to ‘toss-up’ in presidential race
NBC News has moved Texas, which hasn’t voted for a Democratic presidential candidate since 1976, from “lean Republican” to “toss-up,” underscoring the close race between President Trump and Democrat Joe Biden for the Lone Star State.
Georgia, Iowa and Ohio are three other states won by Trump in 2016 that are rated as toss-ups by NBC.
The political unit led by “Meet the Press” moderator Chuck Todd also moved Arizona from “lean Democrat” to “toss-up,” with polls tightening in the Copper State.
In the “lean Democrat” category, three states Trump won in 2016 remain there, including Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
DML: Don’t believe the polls.
4 – The Chicago Police Department said a woman stabbed a store employee 27 times while another woman held him by the hair after they were asked to wear a face mask inside a store.
The attack occurred around 6 p.m. Sunday when two women, 21-year-old Jessica Hill and 18-year-old Jayla Hill, entered the store and were greeted by a worker who allegedly requested they put on face masks and use hand sanitizer available by the door.
The two women allegedly began to argue with the 32-year-old employee. The altercation at some point became physical and one of the women reportedly punched the worker in the chest.
According to police, Jessica Hill pulled a knife out of her back pocket and stabbed the man more than two dozen times while Jayla Hill held him in place by his hair.
DML: I am not a mask advocate, but killing someone has nothing to do with masks. These people are sick, and I don’t mean with COVID.
5 – Looters in Philadelphia ransack stores, attack reporter during second night of chaos
Protests turned violent in Philadelphia Tuesday night as demonstrators clashed with police, ransacked stores and beat a reporter covering the unrest. Nearly a dozen people – including a 15-year-old – were shot overnight during the looting and rioting.
The city has been gripped by violence after police officers shot and killed a 27-year-old Black man a day earlier who they said refused to drop his knife as he “advanced towards” them. The man was identified as Walter Wallace Jr. and a part of the incident was caught on video.
Journalists covering some of the lootings described chaotic scenes they said appeared to be void of any police coverage. Police took to Twitter late Tuesday to announce there were about 1,000 looters in the area of Castor and Aramingo streets alone.
Videos showed stores with items strewn in aisles and looters carrying out kitchen appliances and other items. Many stores were boarded up, but crowds still managed to break through windows.
Elijah Schaffer, a reporter for The Blaze who was covering the looting at a store called ‘Five Below’, was reportedly seen on video getting pummeled inside a store by a group of protesters. Schaffer, who had a swollen and bloody lip, said he was jumped by Black Lives Matter protesters inside the establishment.
Schaffer reported, “Philadelphia police have completely lost control of the affected rioting region which stretches multiple city blocks Looters have broken into more than 30+ stores and are attacking white people They are also shooting each other. I’ve only witnessed one arrest.”
DML: I think it is fair to say that Black Lives Matter gets the reparations they want, even when they have to steal it. Animals.
6 – Obama Defends BLM Protesters: ‘This Country Was Founded on Protesting Against Injustice’
Breitbart reports: Former President Barack Obama spoke at a drive-in rally in Orlando, Florida, on behalf of Joe Biden (D) Tuesday and forcefully defended the Black Lives Matter protests that have taken place across the country — many of which have been dominated by looting and violence.
“But Joe and Kamala, they care deeply about people, America, and they care about our democracy,” Obama told supporters before defending the protests.
“They understand that protest isn’t un-American. This country was founded on protesting against injustice. We’ve seen Americans of all races joining together to declare — in the face of injustice and brutality at the hands of the state — that Black Lives Matter no more but no less. So that no child in this country should feel the continuing sting of racism.”
“We can’t abandon all those young people who are out on the streets. We’ve got to channel their activism into action. We can’t just dream of a better future – we’ve got to FIGHT for a better future!”
DML: If I wrote the one word answer I have for this man, well, it would be problematic because I would be lowering my standards. So, I’ll just think it instead and stay bigger.
