Breaking: Suspect captured in gruesome NYC murder, plus more…

By Team DML

1 – BREAKING: Murdered NYC mom Orsolya Gaal: NYPD confirms arrest in gruesome Queens slaying
Fox News reports: An arrest has been made in the gruesome murder of New York City mom Orsolya Gaal, whose body was reportedly found stabbed nearly 60 times and stuffed inside a duffel bag, Fox News has confirmed.

Cops arrested 44-year-old David Bonola just before 1 a.m. Thursday and charged him with murder, criminal tampering and criminal possession of a weapon, the NYPD said.

Department executives are expected to speak more about the arrest at a press conference at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

Gaal, a 51-year-old married mother of two, was found murdered on Saturday morning less than a mile from her Forest Hill home.

DML: Now they had BETTER NOT turn him loose!

2 – Tenured Canadian professor fired after saying BLM ‘destroyed’ her university
Fox News reports: A tenured Canadian professor who was fired after criticizing Black Lives Matter (BLM) has a proposed arbitration date set during which she intends to lay out her grievances against her former university.

“All of my grievances are going forward together at this time,” Frances Widdowson said during a recent interview with The College Fix. She confirmed to Fox News Digital that the proposed dates are Jan. 16-27, 2023, but they have not been confirmed.

Widdowson, who taught economics, justice and policy studies, was fired from Mount Royal University (MRU) in Calgary, Alberta, last December after stoking controversy for comments criticizing BLM, which she said “destroyed MRU” to such an extent that she “doesn’t recognize the institution anymore.”

A petition later circulated calling her a “racist professor” and demanding her termination, which prompted a response from the university.

DML: BLM’s tentacles have spread everywhere! Highly disturbing.

3 – ‘Masked Singer’ judge walks off after Rudy Giuliani revealed as contestant
NBC News reports: After months of anticipation, Rudy Giuliani’s rumored appearance on “The Masked Singer” finally hit TV screens, followed by the shocking moment judge Ken Jeong walked out in protest.

Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City and former personal attorney for ex-President Donald Trump, appeared on Wednesday’s episode of the Fox singing show in a jack-in-the box costume. He belted “Bad to the Bone.”
